Nova and Soothers Splendourous Drive Live and Thredbo Pop Up

Nova and the Soothers® Team are putting on a Menthol July with a Soothers® Drive Live from the Woodford Hotel during one of the hottest festivals, Splendour in the Grass, on Friday 30 July and Amy Meredith rocking out for a Soothers® Pop-Up Concert at the ultimate winter location, Keller Bar in Thredbo on Saturday 31 July.


Soothers® Drive Live with Mumford & Sons and Bluejuice from Woodford Hotel in Qld

The latest Soothers® Drive Live will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Splendour in the Grass with Ryan, Monty and Wippa broadcasting from the Woodford Hotel in Woodford, Queensland. Mumford & Sons and Bluejuice will join Ryan, Monty and Wippa to perform live during the national broadcast.

UK band Mumford & Sons formed in December 2007. After writing a handful of songs they toured extensively throughout the UK and rapidly gained a loyal following. In October 2009 the band released their debut album Sigh No More, featuring the hit single Little Lion Man.

Sydney band Bluejuice released their first album Problems in 2007 and the follow up album Head of Hawks in 2009. Bluejuice has played numerous concerts and festivals and return to the bill for Splendour in the Grass this year.

The Nova and Soothers® Drive Live series have been held last year at Byron Bay’s Beach Hotel with British indie kings Bloc Party, Josh Pyke and Miami Horror during Splendour in the Grass; live from the Aria Awards Red Carpet with hot international and Australian artists and Wolfmother performed live from Melbourne’s Roof Top Bar and The Toff in Town.

Ryan, Monty and Wippa can be heard Monday to Friday from 4pm on the Nova Network – Nova 100 (Melbourne), Nova 969 (Sydney), Nova 919 (Adelaide), Nova 106.9 (Brisbane) and Nova 937 (Perth).


Soothers® Pop-Up Concert with Amy Meredith from Thredbo

The final Soothers® Pop-Up Concert in the winter series will be held in the NSW ski slopes with Amy Meredith performing live from Keller Bar in Thredbo on Saturday 31 July.

Sydney band Amy Meredith’s debut album Restless is out now and debuted at # 8 on ARIA albums chart this week. The album features their first hit single Pornstar , the follow up single Lying  which peaked at #10 on the ARIA charts, plus their new single ‘Young At Heart’ which will be on radio from July 26. The band have supported many international and local acts including Cobra Starship, Owl City, Good Charlotte, Evermore and in April supported the Stereophonics on their world tour.

Amy Meredith will be supported by Nova’s I Am With The Band winner, The Touch. The first of the winter series kicked off with The Cat Empire at Melbourne’s The Night Cat in June and was followed by Gyroscope at Hangar 204, Essendon Airport.
